Site Superintendent

WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Prepare a schedule the project and review with the project manager to finalize timelines.
• Carefully control costs in all aspects of the project.
• Thoroughly review project drawings prior to and during construction.
• Be responsible for all site safety requirements including adherence to Worksafe regulations and Aragon’s Safety Policy.
• Maintain a detailed daily log of all site activities and provide it daily to the Owner.
• Directly supervise, schedule, and direct site personnel including labourers, assistants, foremen etc. to maximize efficiency and value while keeping labour costs as low as possible.
• Manage and direct subcontractors while being responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the work in order to deliver project milestones on time and on budget.
• Chair weekly trade meetings to review schedule and deal with major issues.
• Manage and coordinate all site activities including deliveries, inspections, field reviews etc.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience providing supervision and management in large-scale property constructions. 
• Experience directly supervising assistants, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction-related staff while being responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of work to deliver project milestones on time and within budget.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction with a proven ability to supervise and manage complex construction projects.
• Knowledge of WorkSafe regulations.
• Experience controlling all aspects of costs on major complex construction projects.
• Prior experience working with large property developers
• Project Management certification/education is preferred
