- Design and create stylized Asian-themed cities including modelling, UV mapping and texturing.
- Collaborating with the art director and concept artists to create a brand new world set in the metaverse.
- Design and create quick animations for buildings. (Doors, Billboards, etc.)
- Design and create foliage for the game world.
- Skills on hand-painted texture are a must.
- Skills in procedural generation techniques are a must.
Skills and Requirements
- Graduate or technical diploma in 3D design / Creative Media / Graphics / Multimedia Design or related disciplines
- 3+ Years experience as an environment artist / visual development artist for games / CGI companies.
- Passion and enthusiasm in game development.
- Great communication and teamwork skills.
- An eye for composition, realism, texture, colour, and lighting.
- Good understanding of current generation production workflows in relation to character art production.
- Willingness to remain up-to-date on the latest creative software and technologies.
- Knowledge of Unity Game Development Cycle will be a plus.
