Our valued client is in an Application Development Company which provides businesses with custom software applications. They develop in a wide range of fields from agriculture to entertainment. They develop iOS, Android, Windows, and web applications. The company is not just "outsourcing" but puts the developers in-house with the companies that they are working with. They are looking for a Software Development Manager who will be showing a great technical understanding and have a highly organized approach to managing large teams.

Problems you will solve: To be understanding of development practices and responsible for providing project estimates and maintaining a commitment to those estimates

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple teams on a specific project with varying complexity.
  • Effectively plan and schedule project activities.
  • Acknowledge missing requirements during the project and provide solutions.
  • Maintain project documentation, timelines, and estimates.
  • Focus on the agile framework with a keen knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify the issues and missing requirements from the project and share the solutions.

Skills and Requirements

Must have skills

  • More than 5+ years of professional experience in Software Project Management or Software Development or related Industry experience.
  • Over 5+ years of experience as a project manager and software development.
  • Experience with third-party libraries and implementing APIs.
  • Deep understanding of AWS, Azure, API integration, Database Migration, and development processes.
  • BS/MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject would be an asset.
  • Deep understanding of the full software development life cycle.

Nice to have skills

  • Knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
  • Have experience in managing multiple projects and teams.
  • Have experience with client-facing environments.
